Go to your Family Members page and click "Invite Co-Parent." Enter their email address and they'll receive an invitation to join your family account. Once they accept, they'll have full access to schedules, expenses, and messages.
Yes, you can edit or create new schedules at any time from the Schedules page. Changes are immediately visible to both parents. You can also deactivate old schedules while keeping them for historical reference.
OurTurn's communication log is designed with documentation in mind. Messages cannot be edited or deleted, and we maintain complete audit logs of all activity. Many families use exported message histories as documentation in legal proceedings. Consult with your attorney about specific requirements in your jurisdiction.
Expense splits are calculated based on your custody percentage. For a 50/50 arrangement, expenses are split evenly. For other arrangements (like 70/30), expenses are split proportionally. You can see running totals and who owes whom on the Expenses page.
Yes! OurTurn works in any mobile web browser. Simply visit your family URL (like yourfamily.ourturn.ai) on your phone. You can also sync your custody calendar to your phone's calendar app using the Calendar Sync feature in Settings.
Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption for all data, secure authentication through Google, Apple, or Microsoft, and follow industry best practices for data security. Your family's data is stored in an isolated database accessible only to your family members.
